D&J Metalcraft Co. builds sheet metal parts at whatever volume your program needs. That covers a single prototype, a short run of a few dozen, and large repeat production orders, all from the same shop on Chicago's North Side. Family-owned and family-run since 1975.

Prototypes and first articles

Send a print or model and we'll cut, form and weld a first article so you can check fit before committing to a run. Changes are easy to make at this stage.

Short runs

Small quantities get the same setup care as large orders. Our turret punch, fiber lasers and press brakes switch jobs quickly, so short runs stay practical.

Large production volumes

We handle low-volume and high-volume work, from small prototype batches all the way up to full production runs. Our turret punch with multiple auto-index stations runs repeat orders consistently, and scheduled releases keep parts coming. Many of our customers have run production with us for decades.
